Simple Ab Workout Tip

I think almost every single person that works out wants to have 6-pack abs. There are a few key things that some people don’t realize about working out and the body.

One of the most important things is that you may have very strong abdominal muscles from doing 1,000 sit-ups a day, but if there is a layer of fat on top of those muscles you’ll never see them. If you want to have ripped abs you need to drop your body fat percentage while building muscle.

There is a very simple tip I picked up while working out and doing sit-ups that really helped. Look at the two photos above. The guy on the left is doing a sit-up with his arms folded in front of his chest. This is okay. The guy on the right is doing a sit-up with his hands stretched above his head. This is much harder and more of a strain on your abdominal muscles…it is a better ab workout. If you want an even better ab work out, try adding a medicine ball as the picture suggests. Lift the medicine ball above your head, push it out in front of your body as you reach the top of your sit-up, and add in some twists from left to right at the top and bottom of the sit-ups.

Try it out and you’ll be able to tell the difference immediately.
